I was studying the bible today and casually opened Isaiah 62 (I use the Amplified Bible) and I enjoyed what I read. I however like to read various translations and my absolute favorite is The Message Bible. So I decided to read the same Isaiah 62 using The Message Bible translation in my phone and mehnnn, I was blown away. I was thoroughly blessed and decided to share it in my blog. I hope this encourages someone. Feel free to personalize it by inserting your name. So below is The Message Bible as interpreted by Che :-D
Che, foreign countries will see your righteousness, and world leaders your glory. I will get a brand new name straight from the mouth of God. I will be a stunning crown in the palm of God's hand, a jeweled gold cup held high in the hand of my God. No more will anyone call me Rejected and my life will no more be called Ruined. I will be called Hephzibah (God's delight) and my land Beulah (Married), because God delights in me and my land (life) will be like a wedding celebration. For as a bridegroom is happy in his bride, so my God is happy with me.
Verses 6 & 7: And keep praying, calling out and reminding God of these words. Give God no peace (I have become God's personal pest and it's allowed :-D) until He does what He said, until He establishes Che and makes her a famous city of praise.
Che, concerning you, God has taken a solemn oath (can you beat that), an oath He means to keep. This is the oath: " Never again will foreigners drink the wine that you worked so hard to produce. No". I will work and do my business and reap the bountiful harvest therein and praise God for it.
God has broadcasted to the entire world: Tell my daughter Che, "Look your Savior comes, ready to do what He said he would do and prepared to complete what He promised. Che will be called new names: Holy People, God-Redeemed, Sought-Out, Person-Not-Forsaken.
Thus saith the Lord.
Che dancing about wildly in excitement :-D
I get recharged when I receive Word like this from God. It's good to know that God has my back and has His eyes constantly on me.
Enjoy the rest of the week.
Lots of love and hugs.

HAPPY NEW YEAR / THE LAUNCH
HAPPY NEW YEEEEEEAAAARRRRRR. Ok, my voice is hoarse now :-). I'm so excited to be in 2013. This year has loads of goodies in store for us and I can't wait to start enjoying them.
I really don't know how to begin this post. To apologize for my very long absence or to just pretend like I wasn't gone and delve right into my main post. I would save you all the apologies because I'm beginning to sound like a broken record.
You know how I always give the excuse of been busy & that being the reason why I haven't been active on blogsville? Well, let me share with you what I have been up to.
Following my exit from the banking sector, I started a business. It's been very challenging, but oh so much fun, and God has been ever faithful.
So I started a company called Revamp Definition. We churn out a range of products all done using beautiful Ankara & other African prints. Some of our products include slippers, bags, souvenir notebooks, Ipad covers, belts etc.
The unique thing about us is that we remake old female footwear. You know how most ladies have footwear that they have rocked, but still love. You don't need to discard such footwear. Send them to us and when we are done revamping them, you wouldn't recognize it. :-)
For the guys, we stock brand new Revamp shoes and slippers.
There is definitely something for everyone. There are pictures of our products in our various sites. We would appreciate it if you visit our website and blog, follow us, drop your comments, show some love, place your orders and spread the word to your friends.

Muchas Gracias
Loads of love,
